Self Portrait Layering Images

This is part of a digital project that has images blended on each other to give a funky picture. One picture is of in a cactus garden (my eyes are closed on that one) and the other is me at a California beach. The face on that one looks pale because it is blended on top of a cactus!

This is a blended digital photo of two mountain scenes; one mountain is an actual mountain in California and the other is the bobsled mountain ride in Disneyland!

This is of me on Mt St Helens (the ghosty image) and on another hike on a mountain (me facing away). I love hiking, and getting to the summit of St Helens was so much fun! It was also a beautiful day and my birthday!

Portrait Project

This is Ariel again! I've seen that I tend to prefer high contrast photos, and her dark eye makeup and pale skin are perfect for this. I used a 35mm camera outside to take this.

Ariel looking haughty. Me on the ground looking up to get this angle...

This is my friend who I'll just call "Ariel". For Halloween she dressed up as a dark angel and had some wicked (haha! pun intended) face paint on that she did herself. I took the opportunity and got some photos of her outside. Thanks Ariel!

I especially like this photo because Ariel is looking at the camera directly.

Ariel looking off into the distance, judging her enemy... the guy in the pizza car who just passed...

Contact Sheet People Project

This is my second contact sheet made with two photo paper sheets. I placed my negatives on the photo paper and flashed light on it from an enlarger. The top three strips are from a different project, but the ones below that are from my people project photo assignment.

Cross-Process Project

This is a digital photo of my family's dog Kiwi. She has dirt on her nose because she was digging in my backyard. I used cross-processing in order to get the bottom photo.

This is another digital photo of my family's dog Kiwi. She is looking kind of looking confused which makes her SO cute! I cross-processed the photo on the bottom.

This is a rock/island out in the sea that I thought was really cool. This was taken with a digital camera in the summer in California and the bottom is cross-processed.

This is a digital picture of my sister and brother in Washington at my cousins place. They have a great sledding hill and it takes forever to climb up. However, the ride down is the best! I cross-processed the bottom picture. I was heavy using the blue because I wanted to convey the coldness of the mountain.

Contact Sheet

This is a contact sheet showing my negatives. The bottom one and a half negative strips are from a previous project but the top ones are from my light project. Unfortunately not a lot of my photos came out because I didn't use enough light in my photos.
